I volunteered for Sheffield Doc Fest 2024 as part of the social media crew. This involved getting content from across the festival to be used across multiple platforms to advertise the festival. I :
- Coordinated with other volunteers
- Managed coverage of different events in a range of venues
- Acted as a face of the festival and presented a professional, helpful, friendly identity to the public
- Used my initiative to ensure everything I did was as useful as possible and my work wasn't duplicating other volunteers on the crew
- Interviewed the public, ensuring they consented to being filmed and put on social media
- Ensured files were labelled and stored correctly
